Argentina Grand Prix

Looks like Oliveira is out for Argentina as well as Marquez, Pol Espargaro and Bastianini.
One race down and 20% of the grid already out.
Martin is riding with a broken toe because of the Honda torpedo.

Here's to a safe meeting in Argentina.

Here's to Portimão being an outlier this year.

Something feels weird; What's the rule about making too many changes at once?

Most critically the remaining riders have to make it through that Sprint race without injury. A couple more getting knocked out and DORNA will have to get Crafar to suit up 😳

Aprilia dominated P1 & P2 with four Ducati’s trailing behind.
Nakagami followed the Duks and Morbidelli coming in 9th behind Nakagami.
No grip Quartararo came in all the way back in 14th.
That is not where I expected him to come in.
He’ll have to go through Q1.
Not sure if there has ever been a time when Quartararo came in behind Morbidelli.

The track has not been used since July last year so it be a bit slippery.

Hopefully the clouds just stay clouded for Saturday.

It looked like Bags had beveled off the sides of his rear tire.

Maybe he felt he wanted a Marquez cushion to Morbidelli and took too much risk.

There’s a Marquez on pole but it ain’t Mark!
Big risk equals big reward.
Ducati did it right. Pulled the slicks out the last few minutes and took 1,2 and 3 spots.
Going to be a Ducati race.

Yamaha is fourth with Morbidelli and with Quartararo back in 10th.

Aprilia has the 5th spot wit Vinales then more Ducati until the 9th spot where Aleix Espargaro has 9th.

I see a Ducati 1,2 and 3 podium.

WOW! What a sprint race. Moto3 on steroids.
Bender came from 15th to take first. I would enjoy watching his onboard camera.
Maybe the pain killers for his neck gave him Superman power.

Morbidelli held off the Ducati’s for several laps before being swallowed up by the Ducati’s.
VR46 team ended up taking 2nd and 3rd with Bezzzechi at 2nd.

Mir was the first only DNF crashing out at turn 9 and ended up in the medical center. HCR can’t seem to catch a break.
