BMW R18 CLASSIC

This is not news, these bikes have been around for about a year, but they're news to me, I ran across them in a "Best Classic Bikes of 2021" YouTube video.

I'm not a huge fan of BMWs, but I have to admit that this one checks a lot of boxes. It looks like the perfect cruiser/tourer. 1,800cc, air-cooled, 91hp, 116 ftlbs torque, shaft-drive, windshield, bags, and a 28" seat height!!!!!!!!!

I assumed it was an opposed 4, but no it's a twin, damn that's two honking great 900cc pistons!

Nice looking bike though, and seems like a practical cruiser.

Man, that is a good looking bike.  900cc pistons, yikes, gotta be pullin like John Deere.

This is the first new Beemer I've liked yet. I actually considered going to a dealer and crossing the threshold to check this bike out. It actually looks like a BMW I can maintain myself and not a Tupperware rack.

I didn't care for the exhaust on the stocker but who keeps those anyways.
