The more I think about it and read about the event the more I want to drive a truck down with my bike in the back.
I rode the track with you at Indy here's a chance to get on the banking at Daytona.
I think I can still cancel my flight, it's 18 hrs. to Daytona.
My Orange bike will be in good company.
What to do, what to do.....
Kawtippin' took this pic. at Lime Rock.
His club rented the track. I didn't have a helmet and couldn't go out with them. Only time motorcycles were allowed on that track. Some crazy passing meant they never let them on the track again.
We booked a place in Jacksonville with plans to go to the 200.
BMW is celebrating the 50th anniversary of their Super Bike win with the R90S that weekend.
If things were different I'd trailer my S bike down for the show on the infield, and a lap around the track, but we don't have enough days off to drive down and back and relax for a few days.
No matter, I'll be ready for some motorcycle racing and whatever comes our way.
That is awesome Walt.
The doing a lap thing, is that for Beemers only?
Walt if you still have my number it’s the same.
A discreet way to get it to me is using this place email.

I’m the only only one that can get in there,
but in this day and age, who really knows.
I rarely go there, but just checked, it’s still working.
If you go that route, just post here you did so I’ll look.
I decided not to bring my R90S to Daytona.
I only have a long weekend and don't see how to make a drive work this time.
We are going to fly down and go to the track on Saturday.
I just need a break and look forward to some warm weather.
I did buy tickets to the infield for the races.
I’m still undicided.
The better half has some health things going on,
I don’t know.
I flew down back in the 80s.
It was cold, sleeting, just miserable in Baltimore.
Took off, climbed up and broke thru the clouds to brilliant sunshine.
Watched the coastline all the way to south Florida. When we landed and they opened the planes door, it was like
changing the TV from a black and white 50s show to color TV. The warmth, the humidity, the lush green plant and trees. I’ll never forget it.
Was like someone hit a light switch.
Hope u guys enjoy yourself, you deserve every minute of it.
