MV Augusta

MV Augusta is again owned 100% by the Sardarov family.
I bet MV is a bit relieved knowing now that they won’t be mixed up in KTM’s financials.

I have to wonder how a motorcycle company that produces such a small valume can be worth buying and selling over and over.
There wasn't an exact figure given but KTM sold back it's 50.1 percent back for the mid double digit millions.
That sounds like around $15 million to me. Word is they invested $50 million into MV Augusta.
Talk about bad investment for KTM.
MV has to come out smelling like a rose, again.
I'd like to hire that salesman.

<nabble_embed></nabble_embed>So far nothing off road is listed on their site or anywhere else that I could find. Maybe now that the strings are cut from Mother KTM they might come up with something.

There is a new very sleek F3 Competizione (competition), of only 300 made. Has some carbon fiber lightness added to it along with titanium bits that shaved off 30 pounds off the regular F3 RR, if an Augusta could be considered regular. $34,000 so save some penny's.

"It's a state of deep peace, when the mind becomes calm and silent.
It is awareness without thoughts.
Everything flows and everything becomes instinct.
At that precise moment you enter the circuit
Everything becomes present.
Everything becomes Competition

Oh,
there's also a new logo to celibrate 80 years of MV Augusta.

I didn't know they sold MV's. Looking at their website I like the stance of the Superveloce. That maroon one is beautiful, but rearsets,, ouch. I probably would be good for a ride over to Herman with a stop for a wurst and then a ride back.

A few weeks ago I spent my play money on a John Deere 410D backhoe to start cutting the hill down next to the house for a garage so no big boy toys for me for awhile.
