Got to give it to Quartararo for holding his own against the Ducs. He commented that this was the best race of his career.
I like the way Aleix sits back for several laps, watching and calculating his move. He is making the Aprilia a desirable bike for other riders.
Pecco pulled it off very nice. Very smooth and no mistakes. I’m sure the Italian’s are glad to finally see an Italian on an Italian bike with an Italian team taking the top step in Italy.
