Polaris to sell Indian

Polaris is selling off Indian Motorcycles to Carolwood.
Carlwood is a real estate and private equity firm in California. It started in 2014.

Polaris will remain a small partner of Indian and Carlwood doesn’t plan to change the direction keeping all 900 employees in Spirit Lake, Monticello and tech center in Switzerland.

Basically Indian will be a stand alone motorcycle company with stand alone dealers.
The new ceo will be Mike Kennedy who was once ceo of V&H and VP of HD where he spent 26 years.
Harley should follow suit. Hire motorcycle people.

I read that too.
I wonder if Indian was built to be sold as a stand alone company all along?

Well they dumped Victory in favor of the Indian name, so u could be right.
I hope the scout and chief lines continue .
There can’t be a big market for big ass baggers and FTR is already dead.
Hopefully the end is near for bagger racing.
Unless gold wings can race it.
Inflation belongs in your tires.
