Royal Enfield, that's right, the company that loves to look old, is coming out with an EV in 2026. Of course they are using a girder front end designed off of their 1930's rubberband girder to keep some of the heritage in place.

The bike will have different battery options so those with more distant needs can upgrade the bike with a larger battery.
They are claiming a $7,000.00 entry bike which is what the 650's are going for and the boss said it should run from Santa Monica to Ventura and back (120 miles) so not quite ready for the Midwest spread but good enough for the urban bunch.
