The King is Dead

I’ve heard the rumors that HD was dropping the Road King for 2026. I figured it was just another rumor.
Just a couple years ago their Icon was the RK. Sure enough, I looked at the website and the King is not listed as a 2026. Only the Road Glide and Street Glide are listed in the Touring section.
So I guess if you want an Electra Glide you gotta hit the P&A catalog or if you want a Road King you have to buy a Street Glide and start stripping it all down and adding a nacelle.

I hope we are all wrong and they just haven’t finished the lineup.

My guess is they just want to sell the high end touring bikes. If that is the reality they have shown just how far out of touch from the riders they have become.

It doesn’t really matter to me so much as I don’t plan on buying a new Harley. It just HD had a good thing going and I don’t want to see another American company go the wayside.
