The Rebel Competition

Fatfatboy
Kawasaki has registered with CARB the Eliminator 450 to compete with the Honda Rebel for what looks like a 2024 release.
I’ve seen the Eliminator 125 starter bike for sale on the web and remember the larger Eliminator from the 90’s but now Kawasaki is bringing in some mid-sized rides back into the game.

These are the class of bikes that will either bring new blood into the community of riders in America ... (or won't, we will see). One thing for sure is we can't measure these by our own expectations for modern rides - it has to be on what the younger generation wants. And I don't have a freakin clue.

i have a clue. they won't sell many in the usa.
not that many young people interested. and for those that are, flooding the market with todays version of the UJM isnt going to do much to change it.

so i do have to laugh when i see an all blacked out bike being ridden by some nerd  with fluorescent green stripes thinking visibility is safety.
what ever happened to riding a bike thats better seen in traffic?
