i cant find the thread where you mentioned its a no no, but its commonly done with Invaders

Invaders are an exception. Nice clean look on a springer, or girder, front end

I had Invaders on a long girder front end attached to an old 70's Honda 750 chop back in a day. It was a long San Fran stile chop with a white king cobra seat and six bend bars. Great looking bike and rode great, in a straight line.


Looked a lot like this one except mine had a coffin tank and the king cobra seat.
