Nope on the cam chain issue. 2000-2005 or 2006 is the cam tensioners. I think in 2007 Harley updated the better system.

He traded his in on a Bagger with a fairing.
His road king had 108,000 miles on it when he traded.
He was retired and rode the crap out of it.
