2026 Ducati Formula 73

For 2026 Ducati is releasing the Formula 73 as part of the 100th anniversary happenings.
It's an air cooled 803cc based off the scrambler. Looks like it will be made in Thailand and pastaville from what I gather.

I like the half racing fairing and the full exposed L twin. The article states that they believe to be only 100 made. Bummer.
Not that it's a bike that will fit me but it would be nice to see one or two out on the road.

Well one would think it being a 100anniverary bike it would be built in Italy. And if true only 100 will be produced than this is buellshit. I am like FU Ducati.

I have to agree with you Hack. Usually their specialty bikes come from Italy. Maybe to avoid the tariffs of sending a whole bike over.

From the looks of the 73 it’s an all new bike except the drive train so I’m thinking they will be hand assembled. To tool up for only a few bikes doesn’t seem cost effective to me.

Either way it’s a bike I’d enjoy, for short distances. It looks a bit uncomfortable for an all day ride.

I would like to see it sans fairing.
I can’t recall what I read on this. But urs supposed to be yet another Paul smart commemorative.
For Ducati anniversary of something.
But the bike isn’t the same cc or something as the Paul smart original . I can’t recall the critical

The fairing is what I really like about the bike. There was a similar style fairing that was an option on the Thruxton. I dig it.

The bike is based off the Scrambler. Walt can show what it looks like naked.

That fairing would be a bit much for regular street use but I’m sure it helped him win.

well this real one has full fairing. its what helped him win. lol.

I guess I am just not a body work guy. on the street anyway. I can appreciate ducking down behind a screen in a downpour. but screens of any kind never stayed long on my bikes. that may change as I get older. older? I am already old! god admit. but I might put a screen on my shoveled. since I have most of the parts.
