Austria MotoGP 2025

The devil went over to Austria, and he was lookin’ for some souls to steal.
He was in a bind, cuz his rear had lost its traction feel….

Interesting that they are introducing a new rider aid when in 27 they are taking many away.

Marquez, who has had a high side that almost ended his career is against it claiming it makes the bike to easy to ride.
I kinda agree with him. So many aids that one has to wonder who’s winning the races. The bike or the rider?

Since the bikes are being downsized are all the aids necessary? Will this aid stay in place in 27?

Im just now catching up on last weekend’s race and haven’t really heard much about it.

What happened with Bagnia at the Sprint start? I thought the bikes had traction control? Very poor results for someone on the best dang bike on the track.

Nice race. I won’t spoil it but it was great to actually see some battle at the front that wasn’t Marquez to Marquez.

I feel Bags and Aldeguer were sabotaged by the new Stability Aid. The near-pirouettes were too perfectly exact to be chalked up to a dirty surface, imo.

My son and I agree about all the rider aids in general and this new stability aid in specific.

If the machines are going to evolve into uncrashable motorcycles, then they’re just two-wheel cars.

I get that Liberty/Dorna/FIM might be feeling some kind of responsibility to protect their employees/valued-properties from harm,
But,
Then what is the actual competition?
A contest of thoughtful engineering risk and the age-old rider skill risk?
Or are we destined to have a group of pint-sized humans perched atop ride-by-wire rockets, hanging on as they ricochet from corner to corner in a virtual cocoon of digital safety?
