Let there be no doubt.

Some people prefer the yellow and black striped model .
I love this one. Jus looks more integral , more organic . More inviting .

2005 I almost bought one of these Paul smart commemorative ss1000.
Bought a Bonneville  instead
The sales manager at the duck dealer was an annoying snob . At the time it was BMW/Ducati / Gilroy
The Triumph salesman was an older down to earth viet vet whom rode a boss hoss!
The asking prices on Paul Smart bikes these days are 25k and up .
Oh well. No regrets.

No doubt. It’s gorgeous and it appears to have a reasonable seat height.

Maybe they are torture racks. Lol.
I will never know. A friend of mine sold a SS yellow one last year. I have no idea what he got for it. He had it for decades. But being a very large guy he didn’t ride it in recent times.

BMW did that to a lot of dealers.
The original Canton Cycles facility didn't meet BMW's standards.
I liked having a Triumph dealer close by.
I've been dealing with Libby's. They do a great job.

Re: GOAT motorcycles

Well the BMW guy left Canton so they were pretty much stuck .
The last BMW they had was a black R1200c . Sat for months . I wish I had bought it .
The moved they bbq out of gengras side building and put triumph and BMW in there . That didn’t last .
Bills bought the rights to Lindeners and my good friend master mechanic Phil Cheney went to bills and then max .
He is now retired and living the life an a no Carolina farm . I assume gengras BMW is part of the MAX family of dealerships now.

Libby’s I still deal with . They are fine. My wife works down the street so that is cool. But the area is terrible to ride from Hamden . Canton was out there but route 8 is a hood run thru the rock cut watching the hawks .

my 2005 i bought from bill lord at canton

the fuel injection of the 2018 is great.
unfortunately the pump ruins the tank shape.
i really liked the 2005 a bit more.

Re: GOAT motorcycles

Hawks.
Turkey buzzards are usually in groups.
These hawks are here and there gliding rather majestically amongst the cliffs.
I get them here at home as well . Off west Rock . They swoop pretty low at times. Just above gazebo height. Never saw them nab anything , but they are amazing to watch.

Turkey vultures have come thru here. But like a said there normally would be a flock of them and move thru in a couple of days.
The hawks are more solitary , stick in the area and seem to fly higher then the vultures. The vultures are brutal on road kill.
