Oh the temptation !!!!!!

hacksaw
The agony of wrong timing.
I love this year and model .
I could have posted this on “ like a woman” thread but it’s worth a post if it’s own. Maybe an hour and a half from me. The price is right . The condition is right . And the color works for me.
Un molested stock survivor !
A dream bike of mine. Damn.

Well it didn’t post!

Maybe pre electric start?
Not dissing….. hell…..I realized a year or 3 ago kicking
isn’t really an option for me anymore.
I be kicking that thing standing up next to it with my left leg.
I could probably do that.
But the right knee was sacrificed to the motocross gods
years ago. A day kicking that thing, I’d be limping for 3,

And I just ain’t doing that anymore.

Wrong timing bcz for 1 thing I am headed to PA soon to bring home bikes from my friends widow and I also have so many projects to whittle down . I don’t have the room in the garage or my brain for much else .
Sad I suppose . But that’s the reality.

Sorry you have to deal with this. I hope your not dragging home more projects that you have to whittle down.

This is something that I’m hoping not to do to my wife.
I’m not trying to sound all gloomy but how do you figure out a way to enjoy the ones we have but not leave unsalable goods if the heart takes a break?

Re: Oh the temptation !!!!!!

Lol. I appreciate your concern .
Pls consider I sold my fatboy in order to help justify the cost plus make room .

It also helps me kind of close the book on a commitment to my friends widow to help her get rid of his tins of stuff. It’s taken a few years , but this cleans most of it up.
Believe me it’s been a challenge .

The bikes are a BSA 441 Victor a guy was lowballing her on and 79flh with title .
The Victor is pretty much a complete roller .
The FL is a ratty pile of rolling junk.
I certainly don’t need it . But they aren’t a huge monetary  “investment “.

I do have a lots to get rid of and with swap meet season already underway I will make the
Effort .
What to let go of us always the issue.
I still have the hinkley and the BMW to ride .
I have a couple of Brit project with new motors I can sell .
Along with lots of chopper parts etc
The goal is consolidation with an eye toward selling my house when my youngest gets to college .

Believe me my wife shares your concern .
But it’s nothing compared to the dozens of motorcycles I had stashed everywhere once.
I consider it my last harrah so to speak .
Moto archeology is my passion .

That would of looked good on a certain blue beezer that I know of.
Fitting too since it was built there.

Wow. An original 441 paint tank.

If that don’t bring back 1970 for a bike guy nothing will.
