You don’t look a day over 119

For the 120th goings on I had to break out the classic T shirts

Harley 120th anniversary, plus Livewire, new and PanAm cool shit depository. As not to clog up other threads with sycophantic HD junk.

I still have my Officer Harley shirt but it is a bit more worn than yours.

Is there a large crowd on this one?

Top-tier Super Hooligans.

The PanAms have to run a sportster intake system for class power balancing.

There’s the Indian FTR, KTM890, Ducati Multistrada, Zero, Energica (got the holeshot! Lead! First time ever worldwide!)

The slower, air-cooled class seems riff with fun.
Milwaukee8
Indian Chief
SV650
A bunch of older sounding HD, some with rake and T-bars.

Enthusiats.

I was wondering what that frankintake setup on those was for. There’s a lot of different directions you can go with the power plant being the hub you attach everything else to.

Had a test ride on the new Livewire S2 Del Mar. preride talk emphasized caution when pressing the S mode button. Well that was put mildly. That kind of instant acceleration in a city focused bike, I don’t know. Insanely fun yes, emphasis on the insane. Which is fun….

S mode - I imagine the shoot out between Legal and Marketing.

Marketing - "We are NOT going to have people complaining about our bikes being slow!"

So, beyond being fun, what do you think of the Del Mar as an urban runabout? Think it can actually execute the mission? I ask because I would like to jump into the electric pond but don't want to get an unexpected shock 😬

I’ve not ridden any other electrics above E-bike level, other than the livewire, and now the Del Mar. The company had an area set aside for test rides, their displays, and company info/reps etc. one of the staff was stunting around a little on a Del Mar, quick tight turns bunny hopping it off curbs and a wooden stand ramp. I think I’d want the bars back a bit, legs were perfectly under my butt, narrow in the right places, good ground clearance, very natural standing on the pegs, Quick handling, maneuverable. Very cool design. I’d easily pick it over the LW 1 as a city bike.
Still expensive though, I thought they were supposed to be closer to $12.

It’s not that it’s so fast as it can be so ridiculously quick in S mode. I believe the LW rep’s words regarding it were “it could get away from you”. In the wrong hands…
Personal quirk, for me it’s an odd feeling being clutchless. I think it’s something I would miss.
