While it is still early it sure looks like a damp forecast for Valencia unless something changes between now and then.

Zarco! Bat Signal! Into the wrecking machine!

Actually, I cheer for the guy. I was hoping he would podium at the last race.

Looking like wet Practice/Qualifying, but a dry Race Day.

46 needs to stay home another week, rest up, no need to pull a MM and push it.

The fact and American will be riding, his bike, in his first ever Motogp, has virtually no impact on my feeling........

Can you imagine, you are riding bike #46, in your first ever MotoGP, no pressure at all!

I don’t think it’s a done deal yet.
Rossi might test clean with enough time, but its still up in the air.  I think he needs to test negative twice in 2 days or something.

I wonder if Rossi’s mechanics have picked up the white contact paper and a roll of black electric tape yet.

Thinking about it, would they change the number on the bike?
I don’t think NASCAR does when they switch a driver.

Oh yeah.

They get a new number, but I can't possibility imagine the derision and pressure of trying to ride the "46".

The DMG tried to do that NASCAR thing when they took over. The riders didn't like it. Very much against the culture of roadracing. It was like doing the riders' meeting in a new language.

Well, it's good to know Gerloff is considered as a a back up guy.
I mean, I'm sure there are a few guys faster than him in World that ride Yamaha.

Who knows,  they might want an American over there as much as we do.

The numbers thing, cool info.

This might help Vinales out a bit.
Because of the whole mystery valve issue he will be missing some practice time.

Hmmm, Miller tops both FP1 & FP2 for a wet Friday.

Now if he can only do as well on Sunday maybe my CycleVisor League numbers can improve!

Yes! The consideration is a victory in itself. Good feelings high fives all around. "On the list."

The numbers thing -

I think in NASCAR the car can start a race with one driver and finish with another. Maybe that's why the verbal emphasis is one the Number rather than the driver... "Well that 24 car was drivin' real loose all day. Kept gettin' up into me in Four and outta Two. But my Taco Bell/Gatorade/Valvoline Oil/Goody's Headache Powder Chevy, she just awesome!
