I remember when these came out. I liked the looks but the winged highway bars were a bit cartoonish IMO.
Damn Victory had wings before sportbikes

I enter when the prize is panheads or flatheads.
I don’t particularly like knuckleheads. Its not that I would refuse one. I just not interested enuff to blow money chasing one.

I’m not a knucklehead winner.
The lucky guy is from Buffalo New York.
Maybe next year.

Maybe next year it’s a pan and I will give you some competition
There is a lot of other prizes they give out.
But mostly it’s a donation for a super museum .
I need to visit the place.
Truth is I never count on winning . The odds are pretty brutal . There are people buying hundred tickets a pop.
I buy ten . lol. But I would love to win a bobber pan .
Same goes for the National AMA? Museum.
I don’t support the ama but the museum I do .
I buy the tickets they send me .
Then there is the BIA-Ct meet. British iron association of Ct
I have entered the bike door price every year since they established the drawing Idk , 30 years?
I don’t win these things it seems. But that’s ok. I don’t really hope for it. If I win , fine.
But I just consider it the price of participating in the hobby .

A good friend loaned me his Honda CRF150F to get of the road. I used to ride here when I was a kid.
It’s been over 40 years since I’ve done any major off-roading.

I only crashed twice. Not bad considering it’s a lot of loose sand and the big sxs tear up a lot of the trails.

When I went as a kid it was mostly bikes and the occasional three or four wheeler.

Well I am sure you could buy it. Or one similar.
Up to u of course.
I am just not a big fan of knuckleheads . There is reasons I suppose the UL flathead remained in production as long as the knuckle did. Tom Sifton himself preferred the flathead .
The knuck did usher in great styling. But the motor knuckle covers leaked fairly bad and was a major reason the pan was developed.
Just me I guess, but I would have kept that duoglide you had been putting together over a knucklehead . The duo glide is one of the nicest motorcycles ever produced.
I hope maggie v puts  one up next year . 😄

I don't think so. A bike of that caliber goes for way more than I'd spend. $100k+. Nice bike but not worth that kinda jack to me. Heck, just the taxes on it for winning it would be around $30k.
I'd probably sell it to pay the taxes and pocket the rest and use it to build another garage.

I'd like to know just how many winners actually keep the bikes they have won.

Let me tell you how it will be
There's one for you, nineteen for me
'Cause I'm the taxman
Yeah, I'm the taxman

The tax man sux.

lol.
Well . I think the Beatles may have been singing about UK taxman.
Anyway people in your tax bracket are those tge democrats call to pay their fair share.
Hopefully The Donald will help you out at some point so u can hire a couple more glass fitters and expand the economy.
You won’t  need another garage if you sell all the bikes you rarely use and would would bet a 100k bike wouldn’t be too far from obtainable . Hell, a garage could cost you 50k so u save that . Unless you make one out of glass plate.
I think taxes can be spread out over a couple of years . But idt it makes a difference if you won 100k bike or sold it for 100k.
Hey! As I previously mention that is a beauty of a motorcycle. But I would rather have a pan .
And updated cone shovels  are real world rideable.
Now that I don’t/cant ride that much I am trying to narrow down to quality over quantity .
I got 2 registered bikes and 3-4 projects.
Kind of an all time low for me.
I have sold or given away piles of parts I would never use. Still got many. I am remodeling my garage shop and office. Building new working space and coating the floor. Adding lighting and outlets. Then the big deal comes with sorting my tools. Doesn’t sound like much but for years I just tossed whatever I was done  using into a box mixed with fasteners and parts and tossed tgst box who knows where. lol.

Got off topic . Sorry .
But I do hope wtt puts up a pan for raffle next season . Or a flathead! Flatheads are great!
A ULH!
Or a Chief! Idk they ever do Indians.
Get rid of that dumb azz Traub and let’s see an Indian!

I actually doubt many folks keep their won bikes.
I know some that have . And many that haven’t.
I have never encountered that problem .
