&$#@!

And the weather's just turning good, too!
Actually a touch warm last night.

What a bloody mess.
I’m jealous of your weather though. It’s been in the teens around these parts.

Actually had to turn the heat on in the garage.
I’ve been doing some part swapping on the Springers.
And new batteries.

Yeah, I picked up a couple 97 Springers awhile back.
Came as a package.

The red striped is a bucket list bike. They are one of the most sought after of the Springers so they always go for top dollar.
The blue striped are second or third. The 95th anniversary Springer is up there too.

The blue striped had the crash bars and footboards. The red striped didn’t so I’m swapping parts.

I’m considering selling the blue striped.
Unless a side hack shows up😉

Small wins make victory parties.

Every time I use an EZ Out my sphincter puckers.
I had to use twice today and was successful on both.

I once had to pull cams out of a Sportster because an EZ Out snapped off in the end of the cam that the points ride on.
Had to have it electronically burned out to save the cam.
Every since then I pucker every time I have to use one.

After I did the two bolts on the Springer I decided to tackle some rusty old hinges on my wrangler. Win win.

Nice save. EZ Out can be a cruel name.

With work being slow do to the weather, I’m able to get the Tuono ready for riding season.

It will be here before we know it but not soon enough.

I took the sportster for my last ride on it today. Rode it to the new owners house.
No photo's. Just handed over the keys and the title, came home and saw the empty spot in the garage.
I like the extra space.

Forks back from a fork guy.
Got them on last night.
Spent a few hours today working to tighten the swingarm pivot shaft pinch bolt.

The epic Roadster left the garage in 2021. I do miss that one but couldn't ride it comfortably anymore. I traded it on an 883 iron. I sold the iron Saturday to a kid that works at our shop.

Prices are up so it's a good time for selling so the Road Glide may go up for sale too. Still thinking that over.

Thank you.

I sat on an Iron when I was researching what I would want to rent in Europe; that stock seat was painful, ¿qué no?

Gettin that rusted puc out  was not fun Kirk.
Ended up buying a bolt, plugging the banjo bolt hole,
andpushing it out with a grease gun hooked on the bleeder.

Borrowed a kit from a friend to bleed fluid back in.  I drained it all so I could go fresh. The kit was basically a plastic hand squeeze gun that sucked the fluid thru the lines into the calipers.  Still was a hassle.   Next time I’m gonna make a fitting to go from bleeders to one of my deep vacuum pumps I use on refrigeration units.  Won’t be any messing around then.

Pulled the turn signals out of storage.
I just liked the look better without them.
Tomorrow they go back on.
Then it’s go over the carbs.
Had it running today, this is a strong motor that revs like a 2 stroke. But I can tell, there’s more.  Didn’t drain the fuel last October, time to pay the piper.

Gonna buff the tank out a bit, 43 years the clear is starting
to peel around the fill.

Maybe this weeknd……..we be out there.
