I came across this 1965 Cyclone A500 close by

Guy says it runs and has a clean title. Bothe gauges work.
It’s missing a right side cover and needs a cleaning.
Asking $2,600.00

My first question is what do you guys think?
From what I’ve been seeing as far as price goes it’s a good deal for a runn stock BSA.
The 2nd question is the Cyclone side covers the same as other BSA’s of that time?

That’s a good buy. I couldn’t read the mileage.
Devil is in the details.
The side covers difference as far as I know is only between singlecarb and dual carb

The project I currently have I am just going to run the bare oil tank on one side and the other I have a custom battery box for
It is missing the covers.

Mileage is 16,000.
Thanks for the tip on the side cover.
I’m hoping to go take a look tomorrow. Waiting on a reply.
We shall see.

It turned out to be a dead end. We set a date and time but when it came time to meet he ghosted me and didn’t give the address so movin on.

I still plan to redo the Hacksaw bike but I’m also keeping an eye out for a stock beezer.

Re: BSA

I know where there are 2.
Well, as of a few months ago.

One of them I’m told kinda of rare,
as it’s all pretty original with the upswept twin exhaust.
I think it was a gold paint scheme.
I sat on that one.

The other one supposed to be unmolested also.
Never saw it.

I’ll ask about them tomorrow, see if I can get some pics.

I called, both sold pretty quick.

Gold, yellow, I can’t remember if it was Suxxex Setting Sunset, or Brite Yorkshire Yellow, whatever,
it’s gone.

Re: BSA

well thanks for trying. i have never seen yellow bsa  twins. that would be a rare one as most were British domestic ones.

Re: BSA

Likely Vspecial.  But Allthough they came yellow they obviously were singles. Somewhere there must be a yellow twin  . But I haven’t seen one.
