Damn, I had me an e-scape from that round.

I didn't understand the replacement rules. I thought I had to only use whomever the team hired to replace an injured rider, and then stick with that new rider, or some thing like that?

But it seems if rider X is out, I can pick another rider.

Must my new rider come from the pool of unpicked ricers, or can I choose any available rider?

Auuugh,, I would not have guessed I would be replacing MM. His feline intuitions didn't see that front tire coming for his arm so his cat like reflexes could not react.

When he got into first place I thought we were going to the fat lady sing. Then he shot turn 4 into the gravel,,, and kept it up!!! Most riders would of been eating rocks.
Watching him cut through the field reminded me of a younger Rossi.
I was hoping to see some Rossi/Marquez battle action but it was not to be.

I'm not sure if the other riders just let him through because they know his determination and he will knock you off track in lieu of a lower placement or is he just that good that he sees the smallest crack in a door opening and shoves his way on through like a Hoover Vacuum salesmen of the 70's.

With a fractured funny bone and know time between races I would think he could be out a race or two. This will really effect the championship this year.

Question on replacement.
If MM is out can I move my 2nd place and 3rd place riders up and replace my original 3rd place rider?

I was so pleased to discover that the race was aired on NBC "regular" TV, I guess they are so short of live sports due to the virus that they aired MotoGP..........I'm assuming/hoping they will air next week's race too.
This could be a good thing. Hopefully more 'Muricans will see the races, get interested and request it to be on TV more often.

Pick any rider, as long as it doesn't make your team the same as another.
And no, you can't switch back.  Unless you have another injury that takes One of your riders out.  Then, the original guy could be rehired by you, if he's healed or whatever and you want him.

Ya, M Márquez is gonna be gone from this league unless guys like myself and Fat2 just wait for him to come back.  I'll tell u right now I'm not.  He already cost me 25 points.  I'm gettin another guy in there.
Probably Quarto.  And unless someone else gets hurt on my team, and drops out, I can't rehire 93 until that happens.

😁.   No. U can only replace the guy u lost.

I was concerned MM might kinda go off, be too aggressive, and have the law of averages catch up to him.  When he pulled that patent save of his earlier on, saving a low side with his knee and elbow I thought, wtf, here we go.  The freakin guy never lets off.

Thoughts...........
Somehow fatfat pulls a good lead with just 2 riders surviving round 1.  Dovi is his weak link, he falls that collarbone is toast.
Oldiron can pick 2 replacements for round 2.  I wonder who he will go after.
Me, motogrady, I thought Zarco was gonna be stronger, but I'm happy with what I've got right now.
Spies, the 2 brothers thing sounded good, I almost went there myself, but it looks like Alex is gonna need some time.
Mad4, different picks for sure.  I wondered, what does he know that we don't?  Biggest rip I see with Mad4 right now is none of his guys got hurt.  He can't change anything to make his team better.

But, that being said, barring fatfat, we all are but a few points apart.......

I’m thinking I may just leave my first place open for round two and then put MM back in to sweep
Up the championship,,,, again.
I’ve yet decided.

The man is a machine.
He will not practice Friday but will try Saturday.

I figured there was a chance of his return.
That's why I left him in before last race.
I was considering a replacement, but I'm going to let my bet ride out there.

I hope he has the sense to just get a decent finish. The life-long risk seems too high.

Any word on Mr. Rins' situation?

A last minute decision announcing Marquez will not race tomorrow.

Not sure what happened to Crutchlow and Dovizioso. at 13th and 14th respectively they are starting way down the field.

Quartararo is looking favorite, Vinales a close second, and Rossi in with a chance in 4th on the grid. It's sure looking like the Yamahas like these new Michelins, and the Ducs and Hondas not so much.

My prediction.......
1) Quartararo
2) Rossi
3) Vinales

Re: Cyclevisor.com 2020 Motogp League.

Interesting comments from Dovi on why he is 14th on the grid. Seems they cannot get the right setup for entering corners with the new tires. He is used to how and when the old tires would release so he could slide/drift into the corners under front braking, but it seems these new tires grip differently and he is having a hard time getting the bike set up to suit them.

Doesn't fare well for tomorrow as I doubt they will have had time to experiment and test any new settings.
