Idk about the seat . If it worked for u before , assuming you rode solo , it maybe that this model just isn’t a good 2 up tourer .
Before you sink 2+ grand into it, you may want to think about that .
Seat, shocks , bars , foot boards?
I replaced the seat with an HD Sundowner. First time I’ve ever swapped a Mustang for a HD Seat. HD’s usually suck. I should be able to sell the Mustang to cover the cost of the HD seat.
Wife likes the HD mucho beder.
Bars are next.

Saturday we took a ride to our State capitol, Jefferson City, for lunch at a downtown fancy cafe for our 28th.
Caught a beautiful warm day just before the northern winds started coming and showing fall is in full swing.

About as good as it could possibly get.

Eeewww, rehabbing old wood windows.
I hope for your sake that they don’t have the old glazing compound. That stuff turns hard as rocks in time.
We hardly see them around here anymore. Because of our cold temperatures most have been swapped out for cheap vinyl windows.
About the only place we see them now is in the historic districts where everything is regulated.
Replacing that compound is a lost art.

Good luck to you.

We had our first frost today so the clock is ticking.

Glazing windows isn’t bad . I originally did my house back in the mid 80’s. Allthough I have since replaced them with double pane vinyl .
I liked the windows. Reglazing was actually kind of an artistic craft kinda thing. It was satisfying work.
But the storm windows were ugly. Heavy duty aluminum  but to replace them the white cheap thin windows of today sucked.  imho so I eventually went the replacement window route .
Not the cleanest installation. But they work .

Has able to get a little of 1200 miles in on an 4 day AR trip last week. We where planned to do 5 days, but we are getting old and most of AR roads are to abrasive and chewed up are tires. All and all we had a great time.

That is a good one also.
I’ve yet to see the meteor ☄️ in the flesh. Way too many trees around my house.
We’ve had some perfectly clear skies lately but I need to find a hill that’s been cleared.
