No thanks. It just doesn’t interest me. I do appreciate you mentioning it. I just don’t relate to the  bikes. Hooligans on the other hand I would like to check out.

Thanks for that tip !
That machine is GORGEOUS !

The word ‘Austart’ on the tail has significant meaning:

Delicious sounds.

Just noted today, as news about 2027.

Not that it hasn't ever happened.
Tire manufacturers come and go based on what they want out of involvement and whether they got what they wanted, or became financially stressed.

It's just something to understand.

Why is Michelin getting out?
What will Pirelli bring?
How will it effect the motorcycle manufacturers and race teams?

Sometimes a tire constructor brings a formulation that doesn't work for everyone.

Uncertainty is the forecast, but the storm is beyond the horizon.

It’s not looking good for Martin.
He won’t be in COTA maybe even Qatar. He’s hoping for Spain.

Team 2Fat may just have to cancel the contract with Martin and sign with another rider.

Aprilia  CEO wants to change the role that doesn’t allow any unscheduled testing for injured riders.

https://www.crash.net/motogp/news/1065637/1/jack-millers-blunt-response-jorge-martin-and-aprilias-rule-change-wish#

There’s a lot of pushback from other teams on this.
With as many injuries these guys are getting I think it would be a good idea but not started now that the season has started.

I’d like to know your guy’s thoughts.

Testing for what?
Currently Motogp only allows rider testing at scheduled events when all teams will do their testing of new engines, chassis, etc.

Aprilia rider Martin, who just started with Aprilia, fractured his radius and scaphoid in his wrist and fractured his heel during preseason testing and will miss the first three races so he won’t have much time on the new to him bike or even know if he is capable of running a race until the first practice of the fourth race which he may find that he’s not capable of doing and also taking a chance of making things worse by trying.

Hmmmm well they should be testing for pain  killers.

As to physical testing, if it’s important enuff to do at all, it should be done immediately .
Otherwise it’s just playing politics to favor certain riders.
That would seem a bit morally challenging.
But as I mentioned somewhere earlier, I don’t particularly care.

Major changes to the rulebook should be done, at the latest, about 8 weeks before a seasons starts.

Anything else, to me, is a kind of race fixing.

Re: The stupidity of Dorna

I think it depends on how much of a safety issue it is for riders. If somebody got killed bc this rule was not installed, it could wipe out the event with lawsuits

I agree.
I'm sorry Martín - you gotta figure it out on what is not your 2025 GP bike (RSV4, eh?), on a track that is not on this year's GP schedule(Circuit Paul Ricard?).

BUT,

since MM is likely already a lock for the championship, I bet the Powers That Be let Martín have a stab at some practice somewhere just so people don't quit on following the series.

That sounds about right.

Like Oldiron mentioned, I think Martin should use a closed course elsewhere on an RSV4 (if thats allowed) or fly over to 46 Farm.
Do they allow Spaniards there?
