You have been staying on top of it. I’ve banned a few but not 3 a day. Of course I don’t get emails letting me know. I just see them when I pop in.

I honestly thought that the site was broken.
I didn’t see any post for a bit. I tried to post and no threads worked.
I tried the cricket post yesterday and it worked.

I have been on forums that won’t let you post until you introduce yourself in an Introduction thread.
I have no idea how to set this up.
Facebook pages are setup that way as well.

AC season is about over.
Kinda burned out on that.

Well actually I don’t know what you are referring to as AC season . We have likely over a month left of it if you refer to air conditioning.
The dog days  of summer are upon us with Sirius  rising here in the north east.
But there is maybe 4 of us posting extremely part time.
So what’s the point of getting too head  over heels on this thing.
I wouldn’t worry about backing anything up . If there are posts of special interest to you by all means copy them. At this point a Facebook group is just as good.
That’s my opinion . FWIW. And I realize it ain’t worth much lol.

Why stress? I do  like the email me when we get a reply in the threads

Ya ac is air conditioning.
Thing is, the replacements, the real money jobs kinda peter out now.

And the new construction, the duct jobs, a lot of guys have already started building and are looking to finish up for winter.

Sure, there is still work out there.
I’m booked for tomorrow.
But just small repairs mainly.
Anything big, a lot of them just throw a window unit in their bedroom. Wait till next year.

I got my first heat call a frwdaysago.
Guy wants a new oil furnace.
Heating will happen to maybe November.

Then, besides bullshit no heat calls, it’s wait till tax time next year.

I’m not really stressing.  

I have noticed, there are 2 places where a guy can still go and engage others.

ADV and Revzilla.

The motoguzzi forums, I just don’t fit in.  
Effin uppidi they seem to be.

Vital MX, a bunch of kids.

I dunno.  I’ve got a few ideas, and it would be cool to be able to hang my tools up take it easy, labor wise.

Feast or famine.
I told my wife over 20 years ago when I was still working and had connections to go into bizz for herself. She didn’t .  Not here in the USA . Anywzy long story.
But you need a bizz where the mechanics work for you. You never get rich working for some one else.
Hope you can make it thru the lean times.
But ya know, a lot of people depend on you.  You have my respect . That don’t pay the bills , I know.

I didn't know Revzilla had a forum either.
I did ADV for a short time when I had the XT350. Did a great 500 mile weekend with a bunch of them on a Missouri Swinging Bridges Ride that a guy would organize. Lots of two track and gravel. Great weekened.
It's been a long time since I checked it out. Ernie frequented a lot back in a day.
A guy can get lost there.
