Thats the perfect bachelor dinner.
That being said……..there’s this restaurant about 30 minutes from the house.
Kind of like an Outback Steakhouse.
It sits out on a Lake.
Great view, and Wednesdays it’s 40% off for Seniors.
I usually get the broiled salmon, teriyaki style. A bare baked potato, with the house salad. They have these killer
Barvarian pretzels with this killer cheese sauce that usually goes for 14 bucks for an appetizer.
Sometimes I think, 60, 70 for one meal is not really being reasonable. Then, I tell myself it sure beats the $120 it would usually cost.
But what pulls me back, are 2 Chesapeake style Bloody Marys. That means they put Old Bay seasoning on the rim of the glass. And I make them both doubles.
The better half, heck I never really notice what she gets.
And she don’t drink at all.
Without the discount it’s real easy to hit $110 before the tip.
But on Wednesday nights…..we both unwind a bit, leave politics at the door, laugh and enjoy life for about 3 hours.
It’s almost like we are in our 20s again.
Well worth the $60 or $70, for real.
