Yes congratulations to Team Fat2!

Looking back over the season they were a good pick from the start. I believe they changed one guy about half way thru.

Grado……..Miller imho just did not pull his weight for my team. He tried.
Plus, MM was a not so smart a pick.  Lucky he got the ax early on but eh, what was I thinking?

This season has me wondering.
I mean, is the bike that important?

Coming from the dirt side of things,
It seems it’s still possible to overcome a bikes shortcomings
with better fitness, and I don’t know what you’d call it…..
aggression maybe?

Some say it’s 70% rider 30% bike in Motocross and Enduro
I don’t know where you’d put Motogp. .

I know one thing………It’s gonna be interesting
to see how 93 does with his new red ride.

Anyways…….congrats again to Team Fat2.
We were in a close one before, and he deserves this one.

Thank you guys. It was the dropping of Quartararo and signing on Bezzechi that drove the team. Bezzechi was showing great until recently.
If I’d kept Quartararo the rest of the team might have mutinied.

No worries. I’m probably going to pull a Quartararo, one and done.

Congrats Fat2 !

For the hell of it, I started with three recent champions, and was plugging and playing all season long.

Rough year for convention, but that’s good for the sport.
Plenty to choose from next season.

Here’s to competing with you all again !

I tell you guys, I can see why a lot of teams go with a young guy over a veteran.
Maybe it’s the hunger. Or the faster reflex, better eyesight, strength and mental quickness.  Or the lack of never really having been hurt.

I don’t care who you are, a few million in the bank, a couple of kids at home, that 1 millisecond per lap a guy might aquire thinking about that broken femur 3 years back.

Ya, I can see why they go for the younger riders.

Same thing in wide receivers in the NFL.
Get them cheap and hungry, and filter the slow learners and the fragile. Brutal paradigm.

Well, the fat lady has sung. The party is over. It is finished.
Round 20 was a crash fest. Some top players were out giving a lot of no point for team scores. Team MG got hit hard in the race. Was still able to hold on to come in 3rd. Oldiron held strong for 2nd place. Having the two top contenders of the same team really helped team Fat2 stand on the top step.
It was a really good season. Ducati was the bike to beat this year and will be again next  year, I believe.
It will be fun watching Marc Marquez battle it out against Bagnia and Martin. I suspect Martin and M. Marquez will be swapping some paint.

I had high hopes of overtaking you in the ranks, but ... Miller! 😡😡😡

Seriously though, Whatarush, I'm sure, and I, as this years bottom dwellers, salute you three at the top. Great job team managers! (but MG, can us bottom feeders get concessions for 2024? 😉)
Lol……no concessions here.
A clean slate at the beginning is about all you get🙂
