Thanks Walt. I took about 6 shots as the Sun set behind that ridge. But for some reason, never got one that really clicked for me. Telephone wires in one. Another kinda fuzzy. Another too much deck railing. Too much birtch tree in another. I remember not being happy with any of them. Thought about it for a few minutes, watched the Sun disappear, and turned to head in the house. At the door, it was almost completely dark by then, I glanced back. The effin colors, the bright orange against the dark of night, had filled the sky. It moved me a bit. Turned, and took what I believed would be a throw a way shot. And then kinda forgot about it as dinner was on the table. Saw the set the other day and yeah, for whatever reason, the throwaway is the best. M |

![]() The kid got enough YZ points (earned by doing well in school and chores around here) to get his new bike. The younger one has no issues. Grado would you flip that for me I'm not near a pc. Tx Walt |

I can’t. Tried as an admin and still couldn’t do it. I can move it, send it, or Delete it. The way I get them upright…….. Log in. Go to your picture library Click on the pick Enlarge the pick as much as you can, getting it so the pic is all you see on the screen. Take a screenshot Edit the pic in the post. Click on more, then edit. Click on the image stuff, deleting it off, by back spacing it off. Repost the image from the screenshot section in your library. It will be right side up. I’ve found posting from a screenshot it’s always right side up. Posting straight from my picture library, 50/50 it’s right. |

FWIW….Been looking at other places to host our site.
It’s just so, let’s just say it ain’t easy. Effin nerd talk everywhere, hard to figure out hosting fees, what you get, what you don’t. What you can do here, what you can do there. I dunno. It’s like you gotta go all in or just submit to FB. And I ain’t doing FB. |

Please keep this place.
It's strange that my photos open in my work pc orientated like they post here. I have to rotate it and save it, and it posts right on here. I'll fix it tomorrow. Anyway I thrilled beyond belief for my Grandkids. |

I actually dislike the way this place works.
Since I am not paying for it , so be it. But I think we might get a bit better growth with a more modern forum . I know I would post more. Certainly bringing the image function into the current century would be nice.

Well, I agree. Thing is, we started this place mainly for the CWForums guys to keep in touch. Nothing more really. The guy that provides it all is named Franklin. A rather mythical sort of chap, didn’t like answering to any of the big providers at the time. So, he wrote all the software, provides the mainframe and server, for free. |

It has been too hard for me to post it but the boys lost their Mom in a car wreck this past Mother's Day. The kids are doing real well considering the circumstances. Motorcycles have always been a big part of our family and a great motovator for my kids and now the Grandkids as well. And it keeps me motovated also. Anyway I like this place and I apreciate you starting it and keeping it going. Thanx Grado. |

That’s all fine. Ask him to bring the imaging into at least the reformation.
I wonder what happened to everybody? I was trying to ask last night , where is Ktrip? When gigabikes died I thought some of them would have came here. But maybe they just didn’t know or people don’t care for forums anymore. The problem with gigabikes was most everyone was a moderator . And some didn’t have a sense of humor of it was about them . I think some of the old cw people thought this was a dirt bike forum . When yaho closed its groups is when face book got big. Now face book shut down its off board group messages. So it’s a shrinking world digitally unless one is tik toked or instagrammed. Which am not. Brand specific forums still are going well. ADV Rider? I belong to but haven’t posted there in years . I dhoukd try

Sorry for the no reply. Tracing back through post today. The docs don’t know. The first one in late 21 just popped up out of nowhere. Had emergency surgery Halloween at midnight. I’ve never had any injuries or operation on it. That one was pretty rough because I let it stew too long and it became septics. Went in to cardiac arrest on the table. Surgeon didn’t think I was going to pull through. I’m glad it wasn’t time for my coil to go out. Since then another infection has popped up out of nowhere every year. Two different bacteria each time. Septics and Klebsciella. Infectious disease doc had me on an antibiotic that we thought had it licked until November 19. They have come up with another try that I’m to start taking once the infusions end in December. . You meet some of the best folks behind bars. |

Geez Walt I had no idea about the boys mom. Don’t know what to say really. Anything that comes up seems so, inadequate. Sorry for your loss, really, hope 2026 proves a better year for you guys. 👍 |
