Poor Flathead
There’s something like eight(?) bikes up on the ceiling - someday, when Kelly’s closes, they’ll all be free again.
Today, it’s a museum where one can drink underneath the objets d'art.

From the name on the stator cover, it’s a Beta.

Rare.

My home insurance agent has one of their dual-sports.

Cool looking bike. Kinda Evel Knievel looking, but I have to wonder why it's not themed with green, red and white?

Thanks for the cue on the Frisco tank style.
I agree on running a deeper tunnel tank 👍

I like it and would like to play with it. Nice bare bones chop. I love the Frisco tanks. Always have.
What I don't like is the tank lift kits that I see on a flubber sportsters with no additional rake and stock rear suspension. It just doesn't look rite. As a mater of fact, its so wrong they smell wrong when they pass by.

Well it’s Frisco . It’s especially ugly using the larger tank. I just don’t like the style.

Here’s one.
Last weekend there was a pretty big group
that hung around, well, all weekend.

Its Tuesday.

What happened to the guy, or bike, who knows.
It’s been sitting here since Saturday.
Noticed it then because of the panner on the back.

One wonders……….

That is an odd one. Not to many times do you see a bike sitting all alone for more than a day.
Maybe the bike broke and the rider hitched a ride home and is waiting for it to covered by a theft insurance claim.
Or it already has been.

Re: New England trip.

motogrady

Noticed today,  this morning, Thursday it’s gone.
Looked like it wasn’t locked, steering wise.
And that’s the main drag thru town.

Hopefully the guy had a hell of a good time this week,
or finally made bail. 😄

I like the military style of this springer I ran across.

It had this little box on the clutch side that I have no idea of what it is.

The owner was in playing the gambling machines so didn’t bother to ask

What? Man, idk where to start?
Nothing military about that springer at all.
Chrome on a military bike ? The creator went to all the trouble to include repop military tail lites, and then used a late model chrome springer and a 21” front wheel?
May even be the original front end for this bike.
I hope the rider is actually a military vet otherwise this is stolen valor.

I have no idea what that box is. Maybe some kind of  clutch assist? I never saw that box on a true military bike.

That's what I was thinking but if it is it's like no other I've ever seen ad I can't fathom how it works. The clutch cable is mounted in the perch like a standard clutch cable.
I've seen something close but the cable was attached to the underside of a newly made perch with a box. The clutch lever activated something in the box that pulled the clutch.

The most common one I've see is the Easy Pull that went in the transmission cover. I'm considering one of those for my Fatboy. A lot of clutch use on it causes hand cramping. Age, who needs it?
