Certainly cursive involves a lot of individual interpretation. Something socialists would not encourage. So dropping cursive would fit with a socialist agenda.

I totally disagree with you .
Just becuz you sucked  at cursive you dont want it taught?
That’s pretty damn selfish .
Cursive , as you yourself described how you weren’t good at it, is an individual skill. People sign their names in cursive. U can go on and sign a big X if you wish .
Cursive is written in the individuals hand writing . It is an expression of the personality of the writer.
Of course socialist dogma wants everybody to be the same. Sterilizing personal expression of handwriting by promoting ignorance. Just as they corrupt our schools with crap stuff like teaching critical racism theory and gender bias .
How about if we don’t teach people to write at all ?
We barely have math taught anymore in inner cities .
What else ? Have they dropped art? How about music? They still have recorder lessons in fifth grade ?
How many if us played recorder or tonette in grabber school ? How many still do? Most forgot . But that’s not what it’s about . Just as in curser, the instrument was just part of enhancing a persons life experience. Especially as a child .
My youngest was not taught cursive . She struggles to sign her name . Her fucking name!for gods sakes .she feels she left out.
Wether it’s the constitution , love letters from historical persons, bards and poets of the past, a well rounded person certainly benefits from a broad based education .
You believe making people fall in line with their ability to write expressively is some kind of progress ?
That’s sad ! It’s regressive . A basic tenet of the likes of Mao.
Let me ask , do u believe in god?   If you do isn’t that a return to an older time ?

I don’t know what a JR is .
Plenty of Roman numerals on old banks and the like.
But I never have seen the Gettysburg Address written in Roman numerals .
I mean , do you write up your glass bizz contracts in cuneiform or hieroglyphs ? I mean be at least partially serious.
So you are another one against cursive.
You totally miss my point . No, your aren’t that dumb.
I will say it once more for those whom seem troubled to understand.
Cursive has been taught in schools for generations. Getting rid of it is just another step in generic curriculum that wants to put every student in the same box.
My kid is an honor student . She is graduating high on the list , and can’t sign her name without practicing it a dozen times first .
You guys are happy to check a box on line for electronic signatures. Be my guest . But having a bug up your asses over kids being taught to write is pretty lame.
What’s next ? Doing away with the pledge of allegiance in schools ? Maybe they already did?
No wonder why Antifa and BLM riots occur , or in it’s latest form hate filled anti Semitic violent hamas “protests” out there .

Being called Francis jr wouldn’t be bad. Now a Francis III, I don’t think so. He was so worthy he was traded, along with his brother Henry, off for his Father, the first, when the father was a hostage after being captured in battle.

A djslx bike! His was a kind of burgundy color. Despite an issue with carbs, Fike really tamed the Dragon on it! These machines were power brutes!
I never embraced them because of my distaste gir the fake air scoops. I don’t really  know these bikes but I would venture ( no pun intended ) thus to be a later model .
