According to KRT they are not using the added revs. They are holding out for another 250, so they can use the upgrade parts that they planned on using that the beginning of the year. But, wsbk/fim denied them the extra revs to utilize the upgrade parts.

It seems grossly unfair to give the v4 a 15,600 rpm limit (after the 500 rev reduction) and the Kawa only 15,100. They are all fours, V or not so they should have the game max rev limits
It’s not about fair, it’s about creating close racing.

Unless there might be a fly in the ointment by those that set the rev limits.

Wow!! Late breaking news…Rins has signed with Yamaha for 2024 to team up with Quartararo.

I didn't see that one coming. Rin's that is. As for Morbideli, it was expected.
Maybe a VR46 place in 2024?

Re: Racing

it all seems very weird.
Your analysis must be correct.

Ducati is on top, with no reason to make room.
BMW is finally on the rise, and Razgatlioglu has hopped there.

Green must be broadcasting no changes are possible.

Blue seems to be as developmentally stagnant as Green - two teams without the magic V-4 architecture.
But maybe Rea feels he'll least get to measure his performance directly against the equipment Razgatlioglu used.

Rea jumps ship to Yamaha in 2024:

Not the best move in my opinion, unless Kawasaki has no further interest in world series racing and somehow it's become clear to Johnny that sticking with Team Green would be a mistake.

On the other hand, how Kawasaki could let their most successful rider, ever, go mid-contact, is hard to understand. I'd like to think they have some new bright talent (s) in mind, but who???
I believe it has to do with Kawi/KRT telling Rea in 2022 that they was going to have a new designed zx10 for 2024. But that didn’t happen.

More rumors about Marquez jumping ship from Honda to Ducati in 2024.

https://us.motorsport.com/motogp/news/marquez-flirts-gresini-ducati-motogp-switch/10517463/

Marquez has asked the Japanese manufacturer to present him with a plan for hiring technical specialists in the key areas of today's bikes (aerodynamics, electronics), and Alberto Puig is working on that list.

The ex-racer has a week to convince those he thinks are the best additions and, once the list is ready, he will present it to Marquez.

Neither the eight-time world champion, nor those responsible for HRC, are confident that the RC213V prototype that the Catalan will test on Monday at Misano, and which is the basis of the 2024 prototype, will represent the change of concept that he has been demanding for some time.

Sounds almost like an ultimatum.

The death of Mike Trimby was noted during the Misano meeting - here's a write-up by Julian Ryder:

Also, a link to the mentioned investigation. One can see Kenny Roberts auditioning to be a Richie Cunningham stunt double.

Ok, I have been hearing a new (to me) phrase being used  in the commentary for MotoAmerica: "... riding the struggle bus", as in so and so's been riding the struggle bus lately. I get what it means, but where did that phrase come from?

That’s how all phrases started since time began .
And still do. If it’s in an urban dictionary that’s proof right there.
Not a term I will ever use. It sounds stupid .
Struggle bus.
Reminds me of Snaglepuss. Anyone remember him? Lol
